A late autumn wander in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens allowed me to explore with the beautiful colours and clear sky. What a glorious day!!!
Portraiture in the Studio
First night in the studio for my portraiture class at the Centre for Creative Photography!!

Street Photography
In the tradition of many Street Photographers, I walked our shopping malls and streets yesterday, camera clicking randomly at people as we crossed paths. Set at f8, 24mm some interesting shots, and lots of headless, legless, angled ones for the recycling bin!!
Wandering around Holdfast Bay
A lazy Anzac Day public holiday in the middle of the week saw me scouting around Holdfast Bay in Glenelg for some shots – particularly looking for more abstract perspectives. I didn’t have to go far, before ropes, posts, masts and walkways opened opportunities!!
Carnivorous Plants
The Carnivorous Plant Society also had a terrific display!! These fascinating plants are wonderful to click!!
African Violets
The friendly members of the African Violet Society of SA pointed out their beauties for me to click! Some real treasures, including the Cleopatra (the predominantly pink with some green leaves). Thankyou!!
Cacti and Succulents
The cacti and succulent society display was fabulous as usual – one of my favourite places to be!!!!!
Adelaide Festival of Flowers
The Adelaide Festival of Flowers ran across the 21-22 April weekend at the Enfield Community Centre. A beautiful display of the usual and unusual to chase with my camera. Some fun clicks in low light – ISO cranked to 6400 so somewhat grainy.
