485km from Adelaide, Woomera is an interesting country town. Having been an American rocket launch base, it has interesting traditions and fascinating images.
Thursday night dusk and Friday morning sunrise presented beautiful light and interesting opportunities.
This week I travelled 485 kilometres from Adelaide to Woomera to run a workshop with almost 200 teachers. Fabulous workshop – great teachers. Brilliant photography! The trip was punctured by photo stops.
Given the international interest in my Facebook page, I thought this range of rural SA images would be of interest – an alien land in many people’s eyes – I adore the red sand, the range of greys and greens in the foliage and the beautiful expanse of blue sky!
