All photographers know the importance of light. Glorious sunrise or sunset light, the golden hour is our ideal time to be out with our cameras.
During my recent trip to Kangaroo Island I chased 4 sunrises and 5 sunsets – with minimal access to that magic light. Luck wasn’t with me and dull, flat, grey light was the theme for most days.
Managed to capture a little though and these 18 images are the best examples.
Another morning at Largs Bay beach by the jetty … Started with lovely soft pre-dawn light and collected some nice images. Suddenly the morning sun popped over the horizon, and before I knew it – glorious orange light shot through my jetty!! I had just minutes to click each side and down the middle before grey morning took over again. What a gift!!
