    Aessessment time again!

My last series called “Seeing” had a number of great images that highlighted something in the foreground of an image, rather than the background.  My favourite from that series was the post at Ayres Rock (Uluru – in the set again). In this series I have extended that idea. I selected a number of  Adelaide and environs iconic locations and highlighted something in the foreground as the focal point.  These 15 images represent the extension of my original idea and will be part of my Camera 3 assessment at the Centre for Creative Photography next Tuesday. Love some feedback!

Week 8: #project52 – Spinner at the Fringe Festival

On a beautiful Adelaide summers day in late February, I took my 360º Spinner for a wander down North Terrace to Fringe Festival central – ‘The Garden of Unearthly Delights’. The 8 images in this blog are the result of just one roll of fill – 100% hit rate – on ya Spinner!! Reliable little beastie!

    Abandoned Lounges in Adelaide

People collect stamps, posters, cameras, jewelry, shoes, antiques … all sorts of things!! I have to admit to collecting a few cameras, but more importantly I collect photos of things … 10s, reflections, letterboxes … and ABANDONED LOUNGES!! Many friends have let me know where there is a curbside reject and I have lovingly captured the previously loved chair for my collection. A few favourites …

    Week 7: #project52 – Fisheye take2

Sunday was the last day of the Brighton Beach Sculpture display.  I had been hanging out for a sunny day and finally it came on the final day.  There is another post with my digital efforts (closer to the event obviously, because of the immediacy of digital), this one has been delayed by processing of my negs and then some time on my scanner capturing the best possible images. Fourteen here for your viewing pleasure – a couple taken at the Adelaide Central Market to finish off the film.
