    Food Fun

A visit to the Adelaide Central Market inspired this photography session.  There were colourful pomegranate halves on display – so I collected one and 2 rather unusual radishes to take home to click!!

Spent the afternoon wandering around Belair National Park’s Playford Lake and Lorikeet Walk. Found some interesting shapes and opportunities again!

    More Steelwool Burning

As I wrote last time I did this, while dangerous, steelwool photography burning is fun.  A still dark night, a safe open space (we had a damp oval after rain) a whisk on a role to spin the burning steelwool and a 9V battery to get it burning … with camera on tripod and willing helpers … off we go!!

    Abstract in Port Adelaide

Once again I was drawn to the interesting abstract shapes in and around Port Adelaide.  There is something special about creating a picture that cannot be identified, or is at least obscure or a different view of something to that usually seen! The Port offers a range of interesting old world, modern and natural sources of shape, colour, light and interest.

    Wandering the Port

Port Adelaide is on of the first colonised areas in South Australia.  As such it presents with a number of old buildings and historic (well relative in colonisation terms ‘historic’) sites.  Great photo ops!!
