    Chasing the light

All photographers know the importance of light. Glorious sunrise or sunset light, the golden hour is our ideal time to be out with our cameras. During my recent trip to Kangaroo Island I chased 4 sunrises and 5 sunsets – with minimal access to that magic light.  Luck wasn’t with me and dull, flat, grey light was the theme for most days. Managed to capture a little though and these 18 images are the best examples.

    Infrared in Myanmar

I enjoyed myself with my Sony Nex 7 with it’s infrared conversion.  The temples of Bagan (and there are 2000+ temples and pagodas in 47 sq miles) are stunning and make great material for infrared!
