Second day in Jakarta started with a visit to a school in the slums. Inspiring teachers offering a free education to the local children. Caught quite a few of them at work, as well as a number of other Indonesians in action.

Today my portraiture class headed for a beautiful property in Brownhill Creek for some photography out of the studio! Had fun with my son, and then with him and his lovely girlfriend. Pretty happy with the results really!

Playing with the Sony Nex-5N
I am off to Indonesia in 5 weeks. Debating whether to carry my Canon 5D Mk II and gear – or whether to travel light and take a Sony Nex-5N. Went out to play with the Nex on a work trip into rural SA today. Pretty impressed by its efforts really!!
